On behalf of the 36th Annual conference of Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons Organizing Committee, I am glad to welcome you all to this exciting event which is going to be organized by the Department of Neurosurgery, Liaquat University Of Medical & Health Sciences, Jamshoro/Hyderabad in the month of November from 09 to 11, 2023. This time we are organizing this event in collaboration with Emirates Society Of Neurological Surgeons and Turkish Neurosurgical Society. We believe that through collaboration and exchange, we can advance the field of Neurosurgery and improve patient care.
We have a packed schedule of Lectures, tutorials, satellite programs led by some of the most respected leaders in the field of Neurological surgery. In addition, there will be pre-conference Ventricular, skull base and Spine workshops for those who want to learn the art of New neurosurgical techniques.
We are hopeful and confident that we will have a wonderful time in the city of Hyderabad, 150 Km away from Karachi, along the side of River INDUS, surrounded by rich cultural heritage, delicious food vibrant nightlife.

ABOUT NEUROSURGERY DEPARTMENT
LIAQUAT UNIVERSITY OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES
The Department of Neurosurgery at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) is a specialized department that provides comprehensive neurosurgical services to patients suffering from various neurosurgical disorders. The department is located in Hyderabad and Jamshoro, Sindh, and is a part of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) teaching hospital.
Neurosurgery Department has two units, one unit is working in Jamshoro comprised of 34 bedded ward. Other Department is located in Liaquat university Hospital Hyderabad, comprised of 60 bedded ward including 10 bedded High dependency unit.
The department also offers a residency program for aspiring future neurosurgeons in two different programs (FCPS and MS), providing them with hands-on experience and training under the guidance of experienced faculty members. The program is designed to prepare residents for successful careers in neurosurgery and to contribute to the advancement of the field.

Currently department has also introduced fellowship in Neuro-Endoscopy for aspiring young neurosurgeons to train them in highly advanced Neuro-endoscopic procedures Overall, the Department of Neurosurgery at LUMHS is a leading center for neurosurgical care in Sindh province, providing advanced and comprehensive services to patients suffering from neurosurgical disorders. Department is also actively involved in research, teaching and training medical students, residents, and fellows in the field of neurosurgery
